Position Summary:
The Registered Radiologic Technologist is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility of patients for a designated time frame and to provide care, specifically in the Heart & Vascular Institute. The patient population consists of those requiring an invasive cardiology or invasive radiology study. The Registered Radiologic Technologist will assist the physician in all procedures and provide a valuable service to the patient and the team.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Associate's Degree in Related field or Certificate in Radiologic Technology
CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS
Radiography (R)(ARRT) upon hire and IEMA Radiography License upon hire and
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
preferreder previous Radiologic Technology experience in a procedural setting.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Capacity to learn and retain information regarding patient care and procedures. Ability to communicate effectively, follow directions, and complete detailed work accurately. Demonstrates compassion and caring in dealing with others. Manual dexterity to handle small supplies.
