The CUPHD Give Back Garden (GBG)has a simple mission: to provide fresh produce to those members of our community that need it most. The GBG consists of over 30 raised beds and produce is given away for free to families in need, no questions asked. As an affiliate, CUPHD also functions as a produce donation site for Solidarity Gardens (SG). CUPHD seeks an intern to assist with garden maintenance, produce distribution, and promotion (social media, signage, outreach). The selected candidate may also help with other food accessibility projects managed by the Maternal and Child Health division, such as:CU Farm to School, the Little Free Market, Summer Food Service Program,and WIC. The selected candidate would ideally be able to assist with needs covering both the summer and fall, but candidates will be considered for either semester.
